HANDS OVER Wiki is a static website. It does not offer accounts, comments, user profiles, newsletters or a contact form. This policy explains the limited data that is still processed when you visit or email the site.

What the site collects

Information you send

If you email contact@handsover.wiki, the site receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. That information is used to answer your message, verify a correction or respond to a rights request. It is not sold.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard technical data to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, request URL, user agent, referrer and timestamps. This is used for security, abuse prevention, debugging and aggregate performance monitoring.

The site does not control Cloudflare’s retention period. See Cloudflare’s privacy documentation for details.

Analytics and advertising

At launch, the site does not run advertising scripts or third-party analytics scripts. If analytics or advertising are added later, this policy will be updated before activation, and any consent required by law will be requested.

The site is designed to support clearly labeled advertising in the future. It does not currently set advertising cookies.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies for accounts, preferences or tracking. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. Third-party sites linked from this site (Steam, Discord, YouTube, IGN) have their own cookie and privacy policies.

How information is used

  • To deliver the website and keep it secure.
  • To respond to emails and correction requests.
  • To understand aggregate site performance if analytics are added.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

The site does not sell personal information. It does not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, processing is based on:

  • Legitimate interests: operating a secure static website and responding to correspondence.
  • Consent: where required for non-essential analytics or advertising, if those are added.
  • Legal obligation: where a record must be kept or a request must be answered.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data held about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Request portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, email contact@handsover.wiki. Include enough information to identify the request. The site may need to verify that you are the person associated with the data.

Children

The site is a guide to a mature-rated horror game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact the address above and it will be deleted.

International transfers

The site is served through a global hosting network. Technical data may be processed in countries other than your own. Cloudflare maintains its own safeguards for international transfers.

The site links to Steam, Discord, YouTube, IGN and other third-party sites. Once you leave HANDS OVER Wiki, those sites’ privacy policies apply. The site is not responsible for their content or data practices.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the site adds features, analytics or advertising. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be described on this page.
